Summary

New York City considered the most developed and densely populated city in the United States. This video shows you the Evolution of New York City, from the early settlers, up to the modern bustling city of today

During the precolonial era, NY was habitated by native americans.In 1594, the first european explorer arrived there. In 1625 the built a city with railway tracks. In 1664, english people began ruling this place and put the name New York because of a city in England called York. In 1766 was the american revolution. Many years after and a big depelovement the city turned out to be how it is today.

HOW IS IT LIKE ONE OF THE BIGGEST CITIES IN THE WORLD?

I am María Gómez and I am going to talk about New York city, my experience there and what can you see there.

NEW YORK CITY

The city of New York is a very famous place where a lot of movies are filmed and it is also a very known travelling destination which last year was visited by more than 33 millions of people.

New York is the most ethnically diverse, religiously varied, commercially driven, famously congested, and, in the eyes of many, the most attractive urban centre in the country.

It is very big city located at the mouth of the Hudson River in southeastern New York state, which is in the northeastern section of the United States.

It is divided in 5 boroughs: Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.

WHY IS NEW YORK CITY IMPORTANT IN THE UNITED STATES?

New York City is the largest and most influential American metropolis and the most populous and the most international city in the country. Located where the Hudson and East rivers empty into one of the world’s premier harbors, New York is both the gateway to the North American continent and its preferred exit to the oceans of the globe.

But what can you see in this city?And how much time do you need for doing it? I will  tell you in the next entitled!!!

HOW IS IT MY EXPERIENCE THERE?

 WHEN I WENT TO NEW YORK...

I went to New York when I was 8 years old. I stayed there for 4 days in a hotel.

There are a lot of thing to do there.

Thre first day I arrived there and I went to central park and had a walk there. Then I ate there in a restaurant in the park. After that, I went to the Natural History Museum near there. Then I returned to the hotel.

The second day I went to times square and to Brodway. This was awsome.

I saw a lot of things there.

The third day I took a ferry to Staten Island and saw the statue of liberty. I was so big and I had a lot of fun.

 Then the fourth day I went to the airport and return home. I saw the city for the sky an it is an incredible view

CONCLUSION

Travelling to New Yor is a fantastic experience and I honestly recomend you to do it if you have the opportunity.
